THE ACADEMY
Founded in 2010, Shinobi Academy is a traditional dojo and high-performance training base.
We specialise in:
Hosting training camps for visiting teams and clubs
Running immersive in-house camps for martial artists and fighters
Hosting fitness camps using our fully equipped gym and training space
The academy has been used as a long-term training base for elite athletes and teams, including full fight camps at the highest level of MMA. The environment is designed for focus, routine, and uninterrupted work—where training is supported by space, structure, and recovery.
Shinobi Academy is not built for drop-ins or casual training. It exists to facilitate serious preparation, whether for competition, skill development, or physical conditioning.

The Dojo
The best view from any gym on the planet is truly something special. Established in 2010, we have had the immense pleasure of welcoming some of the best fighters in the world, showcasing their talents and skills in an environment that promotes growth and camaraderie. Over the years, we have built strong teams and clubs that create an unforgettable experience, one that not only keeps our participants engaged but also has them coming back again and again for more enriching opportunities and memorable moments.
ENCO SELF PROTECTION
ENCO is a self-protection system developed from over 25 years of martial arts practice combined with 15 years of professional security and close-protection work—from door work to bodyguarding high-profile individuals and touring acts.
ENCO is not a sport system and not a traditional martial art.
It focuses on:
Environmental awareness
Decision-making under pressure
Context-driven movement and positioning
Managing real-world chaos rather than controlled scenarios
The system is delivered through 3-day intensive certified courses, structured across four levels:
Level 1: Core foundations and principles
Level 2: Instructor / teacher training
Levels 3–4: Advanced applications (by progression only)
ENCO is designed for professionals, coaches, and serious civilians who want functional, reality-based self-protection, taught without theatrics or ego.
Shinobi Studio
Shinobi Studio is a fine art portrait studio and controlled creative workspace operating from within the academy.
We offer:
Fine art portrait photography
One-day, workshop-driven flash photography courses
(for wedding and professional photographers)Studio hire for creative projects
In addition, we provide a complete video production package for martial artists and fitness professionals who want to create high-quality instructional content.
This includes:
Filming inside the dojo or gym
Professional cameras, lighting, and sound
A controlled, distraction-free environment
Support for full instructional series production
Shinobi Studio is built for creators who value clarity, quality, and craft—not rushed content or generic production.
Legacy
We started out with just a dream and a simple white mat when nobody in Lagos truly knew what MMA was. It felt like an impossible ambition at the time, but we were passionate and dedicated to making it a reality. Through tireless efforts, we built it into a thriving community where 1000's of people have passed through our doors, experiencing the exhilarating journey of mixed martial arts. I even managed to bring the biggest star in MMA, Conor McGregor, to come here for a full camp with a crew of 25. It was an unforgettable experience! I meticulously organised all the sessions, ensuring every detail was perfect, and I had the honor of cornering him in the fight. What a journey it has been; filled with challenges, triumphs, and incredible moments that have shaped not only my life but also the lives of many others who have joined this incredible sport.
